♡ Taking time for yourself ♡

Sometimes I just have one of those days where no matter what I do, I just feel sad. There doesn’t have to be a reason, I just feel that way. Do you know what I mean? I’m sure we have all felt this way at some point. So today I’d like to share with you all a list of ideas to make me feel better for days when I feel like this.

1. Reach out to a loved one

This could be a family member or friend- anyone close to you. I find it helps me so much talking about how I feel. Even if you don’t want to talk about how your feeling, just having a chat and a catch-up with someone close to you can make you feel so much better!

2. Pamper night!

Sometimes to cheer myself up I love to have a good pamper! Run a bath, use your favourite skincare products.. throw in a bath bomb!

3. Meditate

This is something that I have only tried recently but it does make me feel better and it is very relaxing too.

4. Plan something

Having something to look forward too can boost your mood. Make plans to meet up with a friend, plan a day trip.

5. Get cozy and have a movie night.

Pick a film to watch and eat your favourite snacks! This always cheers me up and sometimes it’s nice to have a chilled night in.

When you have a down day I think it is important that you take time for yourself and do things that make you feel better. What do you do to cheer yourself up when you feel down?
